Propane Infrared Heaters
- (Infrared heater) An infrared heater is a body with a higher temperature which transfers energy to a body with a lower temperature through electromagnetic radiation. Depending on the temperature of the emitting body, the wavelength of the infrared radiation ranges from 780 nm to 1 mm.
- (Infrared Heater) An infrared or radiant furnace is one that uses infrared lamps, electric heating elements, flames, or radiant tubes to heat the product. Although the heaters may also heat the furnace gasses, the primary heat source is radiant heating. See Infrared Heaters below.
- (Infrared heater) A source of heat-producing wavelengths, longer than visible light, which do not heat the air through which they pass, but only those objects in the line of sight.
- This page provides supplementary chemical data on Propane.
- colorless gas found in natural gas and petroleum; used as a fuel
- A flammable hydrocarbon gas of the alkane series, present in natural gas and used as bottled fuel
- Propane is a three-carbon alkane, normally a gas, but compressible to a transportable liquid. It is derived from other petroleum products during oil or natural gas processing. It is commonly used as a fuel for engines, oxy-gas torches, barbecues, portable stoves and residential central heating.
This is how I planned on powder coating the big racks...by infrared. That is a propane fueled "Mr. Heater". I had been hanging out in powder coating forums and a few guys were talking about how they.
